We are the Product Management Team at Keap and we’re searching for a Technical Product Manager to focus on our platform, integrations, and services. Ideally, you will be an early adopter of technology and ideas, a team and people builder, a creator of dashboards, and an aficionado of analytics. We are building delightful yet powerful experiences - you will always give your assessment and strategy for achieving desired outcomes while encouraging input and creating space for collaboration. In order to accomplish the goals we’ve set, we need someone who will strike the perfect balance between strategy, creation, and precise execution with room for iteration.  The Work

  • Serve and grow developer partner ecosystem in order to provide an array of wordclass add-ons and integrations to Keap customers
  • Manage and enhance strategic integrations (eg. Zapier, Wordpress, etc.) 
  • Interface with internal department and external technical stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations
  • Take the lead on technical projects relating to AUTH, APIs, and ElasticSearch 
  • Set the vision for key technical milestones, defining and communicating the details and the benefits to stakeholders
  • Enroll engineers, architects, and external collaborators to define clear paths to achieving milestones
  • Identify workstreams and outcomes that compete for resources or expose dependencies, gathering impact and benefits data to engage with leadership for prioritization decisions
  • Define meaningful metrics for reporting progress toward milestones and for measuring impact after delivery
  • Owning communication of plans and progress to all stakeholders 

 Daily Duties

  • Build and foster a strong product and engineering culture around rapid testing and learning
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with the engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams and collaborate in the definition of work and measurement of outcomes
  • Collaborate to define and test platform performance metrics and analyze platform impact on product performance
  • Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement, clarifying cost, benefit, and risk
  • Gracefully accept feedback from stakeholders and maintain flexibility as product and system requirements and priorities evolve.
  • Understand external technical stakeholders, partners, and integrators, evaluating their needs and performance and incorporating those priorities within team backlogs
  • Monitor and facilitate relationships and performance of key external partners

Expertise

  • 4+ years software Product Management, Business Analysis, and/or Product Owner experience, with a measurably successful track record of milestones/releases
  • Experience with the definition and development of services that enable internal and external engineering stakeholders, on a scalable and performant SaaS software platform
  • Experience driving and working in a fast-moving agile environment, including story-writing, grooming, prioritization, and acceptance
  • Ability to track and explain complex technical flows and business requirements across multiple-services and provide context to engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Strong proactive communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively are critical
  • Ability to negotiate without being adversarial
  • Good product manager instincts, such as saying "no" to most things to allow extreme focus on the critically important things
  • Ability to analyze multiple sources of data and distill meaningful insights and actions from them
  • Skill in selling the product roadmap, explaining prioritization trade-offs
  • Proven experience in defining lean initial requirements, then measuring and learning to drive iteration
  • Strong technical acumen to think critically and problem solve with back-end architects and developers
  • Experience as an engineer a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
