Head of PR & Social Media

Keap is looking for a dynamic Head of Public Relations & Social Media to elevate our corporate brand and social media strategy. In this role, you are a key leader in growing Keap’s brand buzz and reputation by strengthening our PR and influencer outreach efforts. You’ll work collaboratively across our marketing, product, sales and customer success teams to identify the right opportunities to shine the spotlight on Keap’s position as the leader in CRM, Sales & Marketing automation for small business entrepreneurs.

  • You are very comfortable leading brands through large and/or complex changes such as brand, product launches, negative reviews and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and roll out public relations, social and corporate marketing strategies to create buzz and brand swagger around Keap products, events and initiatives.
  • Help identify, establish, develop and nurture relationships with key influencers and publications.
  • Improve and leverage product reviews and rankings by monitoring competitive news/developments and industry-related topics, crafting responses and/or strategic messaging. 
  • Manage multichannel communication campaigns related to PR events.
  • Partner with product marketing, acquisition marketing, sales, and customer service teams to create and execute integrated PR and social communication programs and to ensure consistent communication strategy.

What We Seek

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a PR leadership role. Corporate experience required. Preferred experience in B2B technology. 
  • Experience with and passion for small business growth preferred. 
  • Knowledge and experience of traditional and new / social / digital media PR tactics.
  • Demonstrated network of media connections to leverage within industry preferred. 
  • Intellectual curiosity with new and innovative approaches and platforms to drive step change improvement in brand buzz. 
  • Experience working with and influencing key business stakeholders across an organization. Ability to influence for greater outcomes.
  • Strong team player with a customer centric approach and solution-oriented mindset; with a strong track record of success.
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and regularly think of ways to do things differently, more efficiently and with great productivity.
