Email Deliverability Specialist

The Email Operations team exists to ensure that Keap provides world-class deliverability for each of our customers. Our team protects Keap's sender reputation, fosters healthy relationships with other members of the email industry, and develops the necessary tools and technologies to continue achieving these goals at pace with Keap’s rapid growth. We create powerful automations using big data and machine learning, combined with intelligent product features, to ensure that our customers get real business results from their email sending.

Daily Deeds

  • Use automations that constantly scan our email ecosystem for incidences of abuse
  • Identify both malicious and unintentionally harmful senders and take action to protect Keap’s email infrastructure and reputation
  • Use Splunk, Big Query, Looker and other data aggregation/analysis solutions to monitor key email metrics and produce deep insights into Keap’s email efforts
  • Help create features and experiences in Keap’s software solutions that help Keap customers send email that consistently deliver to the inbox and yields positive outcomes to the customers’ businesses
  • As needed, work directly with customers to improve their email sending practices or explain Keap’s decision to part ways with the customer
  • Work closely with the CSM team to strike a balance between customer churn and protecting the email reputation of Keap and its customers.

Gotta Have

  • Strong customer service skills
  • 3+ years of Technical Customer Support or IT experience
  • 1+ years of Tier 3 or equivalent Advanced Customer Support/Advanced IT experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity and understanding of IP’s (shared and private), web based software services, e-mail, domain names, email authentication protocols, and internet related business topics
  • Knowledge of permission based email marketing and email marketing best practices
  • Strong analytical skills using both rational thought and intuition to come to conclusions regarding strategy, troubleshooting and testing
