Keap is seeking an experienced content strategy director to refine our strategy and guide our content generation team to greatness. You’ll be at the cusp of a dramatic turn around in our content marketing performance. This is a critical yet incredibly exciting time for Keap and change management should be your jam. You should be a big picture, strategic thinker who sees the holistic view of content strategy. You know what’s next, where our brand should be and be able to confidently direct our team towards making our ambitious growth goals a reality.  

We have a great foundation in place with good growth over the last three years. We’re looking for a director with experience managing content marketing teams. You’ll work closely with a unique team that’s a mix of content creators, copywriters, developers, marketers, growth hackers, multimedia, and other designers. You will report to the VP, Content.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Keap brand, product and service offering, and audience base.
  • Grow Keap’s existing reputation as a go-to source for small business content that engages, enables and inspires our prospects, customers and community. 
  • Work in collaboration across our marketing department and across the company to fill our content calendar with content that speaks to our prospective customers, existing customers, partners and team members. 
  • You’ll develop quarterly evergreen and micro campaigns in close collaboration with your growth team. 
  • You’ll be responsible for overseeing the content development to ensure content excellence and performance. 
  • Coordinate and deliver content projects for various teams and orgs, and throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Enable growth and acquisition goals through content that performs at every level of the funnel.
  • Leveraging market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics.
  • Multi-task and be flexible, able to shift from one project to another as needed
  • Operate as a player/coach, also delivering high-quality content projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Mastery of content strategy. You have at least 7 years of experience creating effective content strategies and you have the ROI’s to prove it. 
  • Ideally you have B2B SaaS experience, but this is not a requirement. 
  • Strategic thinker, able to help shape our process needs in order to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong people management skills and ability to level up our content creators

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • College Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or Journalism
