Overview

As a content producer on Keap’s marketing team, you’ll play a key role in helping small businesses grow and thrive.

 

We’re looking for a creative and results-driven writer who can craft compelling stories that bolster awareness of Keap’s brand and drive organic traffic and conversion. The ideal candidate will have journalism, SaaS, or B2B content marketing experience, plus a keen interest in writing long-form content, including blog posts, guides, ebooks and customer stories. Video and/or podcast experience is a plus. You should be adept at translating technical concepts into shareable content. 

 

In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across multiple teams to generate and deliver on content ideas. In addition to long-form content, you’ll help create assets such as video scripts, landing pages, interactive tools and social copy. You’ll also review content created by other team members for accuracy, clarity, grammar and adherence to our brand guidelines. You should value collaboration and be able to provide and implement feedback to improve our content’s effectiveness.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with our growth team to craft content that drives traffic and conversion, incorporating SEO best practices

  • Write well-researched blog posts that provide value to small business teams and establish Keap as a thought leader in the industry

  • Brainstorm content ideas that align with our target audience and marketing goals, with a focus on small businesses

  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality assets per agreed-upon deadlines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ebooks, video scripts, landing pages, and other materials

  • Use storytelling techniques to create engaging narratives that resonate with B2B audiences and convey complex concepts without excessive jargon

  • Use our Content Management System to publish content

  • Edit content created by other team members for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency of brand voice and messaging

  • Provide and apply constructive feedback to improve content quality

Your experience should include

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in journalism, SaaS or B2B content marketing

  • Passion for storytelling

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • A basic understanding of SEO principles and how to incorporate them in your writing

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and keeping up with industry trends

  • Degree in marketing, English or journalism, or similar experience
