Design Lead (Remote or Local Arizona Hybrid)

Keap is a SaaS company looking to break the mold of boring B2B marketing. As the Design Lead on the Keap Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for evolving and elevating our brand, and creating beautiful, effective designs that educate, inspire and attract small businesses looking to uplevel their own sales and marketing. 

In this role, you’ll set the design direction for Keap’s brand as well as lead a team of creative professionals. You’ll work closely with the entire marketing team and others across the company to push the Keap brand forward, designing interactive web experiences, advertising across channels, swag and collateral, and environmental design for events. You’ll help Keap make bold design decisions to attract and engage customers. 

The team will lean on you for boundary-pushing ideas, and deep understanding of design best practices and the latest trends.

What you’ll be doing…

• Oversee all design and video projects, from conception to delivery

• Provide art direction, feedback and mentorship to the team, fostering an environment of positivity and growth–approximately 50% of your time will be spent on art direction and team leadership activities

• Define and uphold brand standards across all channels and production outputs

• Design original assets, including animations, webpages, ad campaigns, graphics, guides, tools, swag and other projects as requested–approximately 50% of your time will be spent designing

• Be a champion for innovative design work that delights our customers and meets company objectives

• Actively participate in creative brainstorms 

• Provide input on project timelines with Production Director
  
  

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years of graphic design experience (mixture of digital ads, webpages, social media graphics, eguides, email banners and templates, swag items, print assets, and other brand materials)

• 2+ years experience successfully coaching and leading a team of individual contributors

• Proven track record driving employee engagement for remote and onsite employees

• Experience defining brand standards and setting design direction 

• Web design/UI expertise 

• Motion design proficiency with After Effects and Lottie

• Experience leading a team of creatives and providing art direction

• 3D design experience is a plus

• Figma experience is ideal

• CSS/Javascript familiarity and experience working on interactive experiences are a plus
