Hey everyone! Welcome to this month's new released report. Can you believe another month has already gone by? My name is Clate and I'm excited to be with you to share all of the new and exciting things we’ve released this past month, including a lot of juicy updates to Max Classic.

Yes, you heard me right - no I’m not that Clate - but a little bit about me. I’ve been around Keap my entire life. For the past 3 years I’ve worked in the Keap ecosystem to help entrepreneurs like you create and implement marketing strategies to grow their business. I’ve gained a deep love for this software, the people, and most importantly, you, the small business owner. I LOVE helping you succeed. I know the challenges, hurdles, obstacles, and downright chaos that can exist when running a small business. And I know that Keap is the solution to help you overcome that chaos. I’m excited to share with you what we’ve done in the product to do just that.

Let's take a peek back at what was released last month. We unveiled some very exciting new features including Easy Automations in the Sales Pipeline and Text Marketing. Here are a few of the ways you've been using Text Marketing to grow your business:

Betsy H. is using Automated Text Messaging for sending out meeting reminders and Zoom links to increase attendance rates.

Renee T. uses it for a 30 day drip series to onboard and provide value to new customers.

Michael M. uses it to remind clients that their free live bonus meeting is coming up.

And those are just a few of the things we’ve heard. If you aren’t using Text Marketing to grow your business, now is a great time to start.

Let's jump into the new things that have been released in the month of August.

For our Max Classic users we made some great usability improvements that will allow you to save crucial time when navigating your app.

Saved search improvements

First up is improvements to saved searches. You no longer need to scroll through long lists of searches and reports. Now you can quickly search with the search box to locate the particular search or report you’re looking for.

Searchable “Actions”

We’ve introduced a similar functionality in the “Actions” drop-down. You can now search from within the dropdown to locate the relevant action in a quicker fashion.

“Save as” shortcut

Now, I'm very excited about this next one. Previously when using the “Save As” button, the new saved search name was blank, which meant you had to type in or copy and paste the name of the search. It was rather cumbersome, particularly when creating multiple saved searches. Now, when you click the “Save as” button it will auto-populate with “Copy of [insert name of report]”. This will save vital time and avoid headache when copying saved searches or reports.

For Lite, Pro and Max customers we have some great updates that have come your way.

Checkout form improvements

First off, I’m excited to announce new e-commerce capabilities to all editions. Now technically these won’t be in all apps until next week, but I couldn’t help sharing them with you. Maximize revenue and scale your online business by leveraging Keap’s brand new ecommerce tools including improved checkout forms, one-click upsells, and promo codes.

We’ve introduced improvements to checkout forms, including custom fields and advanced styling. You no longer need to create a 2-step checkout process if you’d like to collect additional information at checkout. Now easily add other fields to your form for clients to fill out. You can also configure your form to match the styling and branding of your website.

One-click upsells

Maximize revenue by offering additional products or services on your checkout form with upsells. And the great thing is, you don’t need to pay for additional tools. Some use cases for this feature include the following: A life coach can sell group coaching through a checkout form and upsell a ticket to their upcoming live event. Additionally, a consultant can sell 2 hours of consulting services and upsell a third hour for a discounted price. These are just a couple examples of what’s possible with upsells.

Promo codes

Promo codes are now available to offer discounts to prospects and customers. Incentivize quick action, offer discounts to loyal customers, or run a flash sale for an influx of cash. And pro tip: even use promo codes in conjunction with a text broadcast. Send a concise message with a promo code and link to your checkout form to maximize revenue.

Recurring invoices

Recurring invoices are now available to Lite users. Set up a constant revenue stream so you don’t need to manually create an invoice for recurring services like retainers and monthly coaching.

Easy Automations inside features

Easy Automations just got even easier! Last month we unveiled Easy Automations directly in the sales pipeline. We have now extended that functionality to other locations of the app, including forms and appointments. It is now easier than ever to automate your workflows because you can create Easy Automations without navigating away from your current task. When editing appointments or forms, you can now see and edit your associated automations. Additionally, we’ve added the ability to easily copy an automation.

New text marketing features

We've also added some new text marketing features. Now you have the ability to easily opt-in contacts by allowing them to simply click a checkbox on a public form to indicate that they would like to receive text message communication from you. Link shortening is now available in all text builders. This will allow you to send links to your customers and remain under the 160-character limit while maintaining tracking ability for important CTAs, including things like webinar registrations and checkout form purchases.

New dashboard metrics

We've added some additional dashboard metrics for you to gain greater visibility into your marketing performance. You will now find 3 new metrics on your dashboard: “All Contacts”, “New Leads”, and “New Clients”. The all contacts metric shows you a list of all of the contacts in your Keap app. The “New Leads” and “New Clients” metrics allows you to view a list of all contacts marked as a lead or client in the specified time frame. The new leads and new clients metrics allow you to change the filter to see date ranges of last 7 days, last 14 days, last 30 days, and last 60 days.

These are some great new features and are all geared to help you overcome the chaos and grow your business.
