We started Keap in 2001. Like many new business owners, we had that entrepreneurial spark and an exciting vision of working for ourselves. Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into!
Early on, we had lots of raw ambition and ideas to spare, but also doubts and doubters who suggested we get a “real job.” We learned some awesome, painful and valuable lessons throughout those first years. Those experiences galvanized our love for fellow entrepreneurs and our total hatred for small business failure. We grew our business the hard way, but learned freedom and success are possible with the right mindset and systems.
Ultimately, we found our true mission: to empower entrepreneurs by simplifying growth. We created the first all-in-one CRM and sales and marketing automation platform built specifically for growth-minded entrepreneurs. Through powerful automation, what took hours now took minutes. That was the big game changer and our “aha” moment.
