Hello, reader. I’ve been Keap’s Customer Marketing Manager for just over a year now, and this is the seventh play of the month I’ve created for you. If this is the first time you’ve heard of the Play of the Month, excellent — I’m glad you’re here.
I’ve made a compilation of all our past plays so you can catch up on what you need and skip what you don’t. Check that out below before you catch this month’s new play at the bottom of this blog. Plus, this compilation is in list form (I ran a business with Keap’s small business CRM software for years, so I know how much entrepreneurs love a good list!).
Dynamic Content
You need this if: You have to send almost the same email to a bunch of people, but certain paragraphs will be different depending on the contact’s history.
Text Message Follow-up
You need this if: You send good emails, but many people don’t even open them.
Keap Pro Services
(Contains a real, candid example Zoom call with customer permission to share)
You need this if: You’re looking for software and strategy support, you’d like some of the work done for you, and it has to be worth your time and money.
One Internal Form for Each Part of Your Business
You need this if: You have to train employees on how to trigger new internal automations, and you’d like to simplify the entire process.
Populate a Google Sheet Directly From a Keap automation
You need this if: You want an automated, up-to-date spreadsheet populated in real-time by key data from Keap and you don’t want to pay for a connector app.
Proven Automation Template: 1-Click Survey
You need this if: You know the power of small business automation, but you’d prefer if someone built the automations for you so all you had to do was customize.
Would you like a free Jeep?
I won this Ultimate Automator Award in 2019, and I scoffed at the thought of applying at first. The first minute of the video in play #6 is my message to you about why YOU should apply (hint: You could win a Jeep or thousands of dollars).
Interested? APPLY NOW! Don’t wait because the deadline is approaching fast. But remember: You have to attend the Let’s Grow Summit by Keap in Phoenix to win, so if you’re not registered to join us there, do that on our website. It’s going to be incredible.
Which Plays Should I Skip?
If you’ve come this far, you have given me a gift by investing your time. I hope to offer you a return on that investment. Here’s a shortcut for figuring out which plays will provide the most value to you:
*Keap users have access to a number of Proven Automation Templates for free, depending on purchase date and bundle. Additional templates are available for a low price if you need them. Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information. If you don’t know your CSM, just reach out to support and they’ll get you sorted!
Today’s Play
Finally!
Today’s play is one of Keap’s Proven Automation Templates: progressive lead capture. I’ll leave the teaching to Myke and Sarah from Keap Academy, but here’s the gist: The more information you ask for at the moment of lead capture, the fewer leads you will capture. However, the more data you gather about a contact, the better you can serve them offers that feel relevant to them. In other words, you want to gather as little information as possible upfront, and then encourage more information sharing as they progress through the Perfect Customer Lifecycle.
You’ll find a quick trailer for the course below, and the entire course is contained in the second video. This is a great resource to learn on your own time, but the best way to get this information is to attend one of our live trainings so you can have your questions answered as you build. We don’t always post replays publicly, so don’t miss the next live Proven Automation Launch.
